Bad things with America -
1. Will not acknowledge Global Warming, despite clear scientific data
2. Will not sign up to Kyote Protocol
3. Is the world's largest consumer of oil by far
4. Misleading the world about Iraq so we invade because of 'weapons of mass destruction'
5. Threatening Iran with military action about nuclear power work
6. Sharing 'Fast Food' with the world (McDonalds)
7. Attrocious foreign policy
8. Death penalty
9. Far larger criminal population compared to most other countries

Good things about America -
1. Space Program (NASA)
2. Literacy rates
3. Liberal society
4. Seperation of religion and the state : )
5. Democratic

All of the good things about America involve only America, but many of the Bad things involve the rest of the world.

I'll take a quote from Kofi Annan to descripe his dislike for the USA, that I agree to, "The United States respects freedom and liberty within, but not abroad."

What proof do you have that global warming exists that isn't quashed by the fact that we have had rises and falls in global temperate of this magnitude since the beginnings of the earth?

That is the perfect way to sum up mine and many others' thoughts.

Gradual changes are normal; that is not.

I would also like for you to explain what is wrong with the death penalty? Here in England it costs £22,000 of the tax payers money to keep criminals locked up for a year. What is the point in holding murderers, peodophiles and rapists in jail for life, where the cause more damage to the community by making us pay taxes to keep them alive. We don't need people like this in the world so why not get rid of them?

Again, what is the problem with threatening military action against a country developing nucleur weapons. Iran has a history of having a corrupt, unstable government, and if it's nucleur re-armerment is considered to be threat, which it certainly should be, then something should be done about it. This would be completly different from what happened in Iraq as we have clear proof that they are building nucleur weapons.

Actually, America's nuclear armament is more of a threat, America is the only country to actually use nuclear weapons, if you guys were not a superpower, the world would police YOU.

BTW, the death penalty is usually more expensive to implement, because it takes a lot of time of judges, lawyers, prosecutors, etc, and here's the thing, these guys don't get paid pennies, and it comes from tax payers pockets...

The huge expanse of western Siberia is thawing for the first time since its formation, 11,000 years ago.

"first time since it's formation 11,000 years ago" is the important part of the sentace. 11,000 years ago we had just witnessed an ice age and the earth's surface was slowly beginning to revert back to it's normal temperature. We cannot say that that is not normal, as it has never happened before so we don't know what the norm is. Can you find evidence that the last time the earth temperature gradually increased, there was not a point at which the temperature rose quicker than at other times, before beginnning to decline again, or level off? I can't

How do you feel about China?
Exempted from Kyoto
Thousands of coal mine deaths every year.
To be the world's largest consumer of oil by far
Executes more people than any other country by far
Misleading the world about the threat of Taiwan

Dozens of different theories have been used to undercut the Green house gases theory, but the increased CO2 emissions have been shown by scientific knowledge to increase the Global Warming affect by large amounts. Whatever you think you must consider that Global temperatures started to increase ever sinced increased CO2 emissions increased (industrial revolution).
Increased CO2 emissions probably have kick started an intense Global Warming affect.

We live in a world nowadays were feeding someone for life, via prison or welfare, or whatever, isn't really that expensive, however, paying a judge, prosecutor, lawyer and jury for just one case, is more expensive then feeding an individual for life, that's how much the rich are overpaid these days...

Corporations and lobbyists run the government. example: A scientist/inventor recently made one of the greatest discoveries of all time. He discovered a way to burn water and hydrogen as fuel. His prototype vehicle can go 100 miles on 4 ounces of water! They invited him to Washington weeks ago to show his process. He can even weld metal by burning water! If I didn't see it I would not believe it. Do you think the oil companies and lobbyists ever want to see this get develope?. I haven't heard one story about it since.
another example was when the Secretary of the Air Force told a Senate Apprpriations Committee we did not need an expensive bomber (career suicide) but the speaker of the House at the time, Newt Gingrich, authorized billions to be spent on it as the defense contractors and plants were located in his home State of Georgia, where he is now working for them! Politics.

We are heade for trouble. As long as we spend more money on defense, weapons and killing technology instead of Education, Healthclare, and Social programs things will never change.
