Some people in America, mostly right wingers, would refuse to vote for a presidential candidate just because she was a woman. Others, mostly left wingers, would be more likely to vote for a candidate if she was a woman. Therefore, in order to stand a chance of getting elected, a woman would have to have left leaning views.

I certainly don't think that all Americans are like that. I have many good American friends, and I used to go out with an American girl. It's unfortunate that the popular image of American people are, well, people like Jammer.

It is unfortunate indeed. It gives the rest of us a bad name, but I try my best to undo that image.

Don't misogynists treat women for problems "down there"?

whiterose is a good name .. you're an idiot, but the name is very feminine and very fitting .. you're such a delicate thing.

You can call me dankweed, old geezer (my personal favorite), ugly American or anything else your tiny mind may come up with.
You'll still be an unfortunate dullard.

I'm doubtful we'll see any "minority" in the oval office anytime soon, which is a shame since the "minorities" are accustomed to performing twice the job for half the pay.

Only if the readers are too stupid to realize jerks exist in every country, which is doubtful.

I think we worry too much about having a bad name.

Well, I have found quite commonly that people assume that I will act like their image of an American(which is a very negative image), and are very supprised when I don't. I think America should be worried about how much the rest of the world has grown to look down on it.

I don't spend much time worrying about what others think of me, or worrying about what others might think of me. I am my own example. If others have misconceptions about ALL Americans, hopefully they will have the ability to change their opinions after interacting on an individual basis. This stereotype, if it really exists, is no more acceptable than any other stereotype.
