Don't deny Whodey his rights!!!

And since now porn is a right, the government must also provide prostitutes to those who cannot afford them.
I'm not sure what we call the agency -- 'Department of Affairs' is descriptive but not inclusive enough.

Suggestions?
The answer is obvious. They must create "The Department of Sex". Now that sex is a "right" the state must pimp out "sex workers" to go around to those in the populace who are "sex deprived".
So I guess the next question is, since sex is a "right", how often should this right be given? Should it be once a week? Once a day? Thirty times a day?

Given that people who commit imprisonable offences by definition forfeit their right to liberty, surely it's not a stretch to suggest they might also forfeit their right to internet access?

Just because someone goes out and murders 20 people doesn't mean he should forfiet his right to watch porn or have access to prostitutes. They still have "needs" ya know. ðŸ˜

I have no problem with not granting internet access to convicts.
I also think the "right to Internet" is a bit silly, broadband internet access is so cheap everyone can afford it anyway (at least in rich countries).

I know this thread is tongue-in-cheek, but on a more serious note, the whole discussion really does come down to what a society will tolerate.
Just because some European countries feel the need to make access to porn a human right does not mean that the U.S. should follow suit. I will go ahead and hazard a guess that no U.S. congressman will ever sponsor a resolution to encourage porn to be seen as a human right any time soon, let alone a right for prisoners.
I would dare (like?) to imagine, however, that our society would not be willing to tolerate the fundamental inequalities in our health care system that will linger on even after the full implementation of Obama's health care law. I refuse to believe that informed Americans are overwhelmingly willing to accept the fact that thousands of Americans die, and hundreds of thousands of Americans go bankrupt, on a yearly basis due to diseases that reasonable health care insurance packages would normally cover.

But Europe is the progressive model the US tries to emulate. Why wouldn't they?

Who wants to see people die? Does the GOP? Have you bought into the notion tha the GOP wants to throw grandma off the cliff like most others on this forum do?
