Trump railed on Obama (and still does) when he sent $1.7 billion to Iran (which was actually their money to begin with). Obama got 97% of their enriched uranium, strict monitoring, harsh penalties for failing inspections, all without dropping a bomb or spending any tax dollars on war. Now Trump deserves his medicine. He spent upwards of $100 billion tax dollars on this war, and we end up in a much worse situation than we were then.

Dude, the cognitive dissonance is insane on this. He's repeatedly threatened extreme measures unless Iran surrenders, only to back down over and over again. This has been happening for months. Now, they announce a deal to reopen the strait, which by the way was open before the war started, but they don't announce what's in the deal and Trump goes out of his way to say that ...[text shortened]... at out his hand (all caps) why are they not doing that now and why are they acting like they've won?

Many of these moves bet on how the market would react to his decisions. A legal way to make money, unless you are the one in the news making these decisions. Elizabeth Warren has called for hearings on these sketchy moves.
