Getting touchy, are you ??
You and others like metalbrain are continually flooding the forum with your crap about COVID.
So you should expect a response.
And if my response, which is reasonably factual, sounds like a lecture, then maybe you need to do something about your thin skin.
Your career as an internet troll hangs in the balance. 😛
Touchy? Honey don't think so. Just lecturing you about lecturing other people. Better is the make yourself a better person.

This is the latest STUPID going on, now thousands of people fell for the scam which is making the originators of this scam megabucks.

Here is just one STUPID going on:

https://truthusa.us/us-news/woman-sues-cedars-sinai-demanding-mother-be-given-ivermectin/

As if hydrocloroquine touted by Trump wasn't bad enough, now they are going after HORSE DEWORM meds and is TOX ...[text shortened]... think they are.

And that includes me if you are tempted to say 'oh, you mean you aren't human?
Another drug that showed promising signs, but when subjected to the full rigor of scientific testing, appears to have little impact.

But writing it off as an idiocy because it's also used as an anti-parasitic in animals is silly. Many high profile scientific organizations engaged comprehensive randomized clinical trials to test the thing; they obviously believed it was possible that it helped.

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2777389

https://www.covid19treatmentguidelines.nih.gov/therapies/antiviral-therapy/ivermectin/

Even the NIH conceded positive in vitro characteristics that gave it potential against C19.

https://www.covid19treatmentguidelines.nih.gov/therapies/antiviral-therapy/ivermectin/

Alas, it doesn't seem like these translate to clinical use.

You're a mathematician, aren't you? Didn't you read about these trials or do you simply pay no attention until some leftist memes about it on Twitter?

Please, don’t listen to metal-brain. Horse deworming medication is not for humans.
It is pure ivermectin. As long as the dosage is correct it is safe for people.

What is sad is that people have to resort to horse medication because big pharma is so corrupt they suppressed all the cost effective meds for C19 that compete with the gene vaccines.

Only expensive meds under patent are allowed. Big Pharma is killing people for profits. Fauci is killing people on their behalf. No inexpesive drugs allowed. Let people die instead.

Yeah, ANYTHING but the vaccine which has PROVEN positive effects stopping covid.

Yeah, can't have THAT, we want HORSE DEWORM PASTE, it tastes SO good.

Or hydrochloroquine, whichever one we can get first.
The gene vaccines do not stop covid. They only reduce it for those vaccinated and spread it to the vaxxed and unvaxxed alike. They sure as heck do not stop the SARS2 virus from spreading. Even the CDC admits that.

There were 6+ clinical trials with IVM. It doesn't work.

Rand Paul says scientists won't study horse-deworming drug ivermectin's use as a potential COVID cure because of their 'hatred for Trump'.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/rand-paul-claims-scientists-wont-045732346.html

Big pharma often pushes late stage studies of antivirals because they are only effective in the early stages of the disease. This is one of many methods to fraudulently suppress inexpensive drugs.

It is puzzling that democrats are prejudiced against ivermectin even though Trump never promoted the drug. It seems that any antiviral drug is hated by the democrat crowd. Democrats seem to be in love with big pharma.

What is your source of information?

Rand Paul's claim is pure fiction. There have been dozens of academic articles from basic science to translational medicine and many clinical trials on IVM to treat COVID. Why would a company spend millions of dollars on clinical trials for late stage studies if they knew they were only effective in early stages?

THere's a whole website that lists clinical trials and links to data. It's publicly available.

Here's one meta-analysis, among many. If I remember correctly, there was a pre-print showing efficacy that was retracted because the data was found to be fraudulent. All other trials show it is not a viable treatment option.

"Why would a company spend millions of dollars on clinical trials for late stage studies if they knew they were only effective in early stages?"

To corrupt the results. They do it. They did it with HCQ. Corrupt studies are done and the Lancet had to retract a study that used fraudulent data. Stop denying reality.

Anybody can seek a confirmation bias in studies. Here is mine.

Rand Paul is lying. Extensive research has been conducted on IVM and COVID and the results are inconclusive.

If you had read the article without bias you would have read this part of the article:

"In the US, the National Institutes of Health is conducting a large, late-stage trial to see whether ivermectin can help people with mild or moderate COVID-19 cases feel better more quickly."

It is a late stage trial for ivermectin when it is well known it is ineffective in the late stages, so the proof is right there. The source is provided and everything.

You said yourself the results were inconclusive. DUH! That is why Rand says better studies have to be done, but not late stage trials. They are proof the studies are being corrupted and they are underway.

I must insist you acknowledge ivermectin studies are intentionally being corrupted. Until you do it is pointless to debate a denialist determined to maintain cognitive dissonance.

The bottom line is you don't give a rats ass how many people die from covid. Why it's only a few hundred thousand, what's the big deal. More die from cars or some other stupid argument.

This is a result of republicans trying ANYTHING to stain the rep of Biden.

That makes you the poster boy for TROLL.

No, you don't give a rats ass how many people die from covid. You condone denying people effective treatment that saves lives for political reasons. If Trump said something is good you have to hate it and you will not let facts get in your way.

The Lancet article claiming HCQ was dangerous contained fraudulent data and was retracted. Your opinion on HCQ is based on a retracted article because of fraudulent data.

Why can't people buy antibiotics over the counter? Is it because antibiotics are bad?

It's because antibiotics used wrong can indeed be dangerous. Taking antibiotics for the wrong disease, for instance, is a bad idea. And taking them unnecessarily or not completing the course has been shown to create resistant strains of bacteria.

In other words: antibiotics taken under competent medical supervision - usually good; antibiotics taken at random by inexpert members of the public - often bad.
