He released hundreds of emails AFTER they were hacked and held in Russian hands for Lord knows how long. He's a disinformation peddler. He helped the Russians help Trump get elected. We were damned lucky the damage wasn't worse. No love from me.
well thank God hillery deleted her emails right?

@Metal-Brain
Hate tovpoint it out for you but Russia is ALREADY demonized, they didn't need help from outside.
Attacking Ukraine is what did that, they are now pariahs from any western democratic countries.

As if he had any real choice if he wanted to get out of prison.
He could have fought the charges in US court, but the CIA wanted to kill him, Trump said he should be executed and it might have been a kangaroo court.
cia will kill him

I think he would have been well advised to fight the charges in Federal Court.

I can't think of any journalist successfully prosecuted under the Espionage Act for merely reporting what whistle blowers told them or for publicizing documents given to them by others. Even if convicted, he would have had a good chance of success appealing on First Amendment grounds. See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Times_Co._v._United_States

He's a whistle blower, not a traitor.
He's actually neither.

@Metal-Brain said
You cannot cite a single reason Assange could possibly be a traitor.
You are just repeating propaganda like a blind ape.

What other anti Russian conspiracy theories are you parroting these days?
And why did the FBI want Seth Rich's laptop to remain top secret for 66 years after a court ordered the release?

Yeah, the truth has a way of getting out despite your best efforts to promote lies.
Excellent post.

Do you delete emails?

I know I do.

I'm not keeping gigabytes of yesterday's news on my computer.

And neither did Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice.

But you seem okay with them keeping private servers.

Except Trump/Putin sympathizers.

Good luck to my hero.
"As a condition of his plea, he will be required to destroy classified information provided to WikiLeaks."

Not exactly "heroic".

I agree with the NY Times article that calls this a "chilling precedent".
