I might point out that babies get bruises. It's just a natural bi-product of learning about the world. I'm not saying that there isn't a chance that something more sinister happened, but my sister's kids is forever falling over and hitting his head or bashing himself in the face with his food bowl. It just happens. Only a medical examination can say for sure what the cause is. If you're that worried, take the kid to a doctor, take some photos and move on procedure not emotion.
Ok, just when you think life can't get any crazier. What kind of a parent takes their child to the doctor, finds out the child has an ear infection, gets a prescrition for the infection and then neglets to inform the mother. So for two days now he has not felt a need to somehow inform me that our daughter has an ear infection, albeit a very minor one, and witholds precsribed medication from her. The insanity continues yet a judge rules supreme.
Just because a parent isn't the best in the world, and might even be a bit of an eejit, doesn't mean they shouldn't have contact with their children.
Just because 2 parents are incapable of communicating with each other, for whatever reason, doesn't mean that only one of them should have any contact.

It's a complete gong show when a mother is no longer allowed the option of protecting her family from violence and abuse. That's all I have to say. When there is outside documentaion as proof of a person lying under oath I always assumed it to be a criminal offense. The judicial system is a gong show made that way by bleeding heart liberals who are always at the ready to protect the guilty and prolong suffering for the innocent. It's a bloody laughing joke. Makes me almost consider a career in criminal activity, afterall it's so easy to go unpunished for crimes these days anyway.
In any case, listen to your lawyer. You don't want the baby's father suddenly taking legal action against you.
Good luck
If you have sincere concerns for your child's welfare, and if finances allow,
I would recommend hiring a private investigator. If the child's father is as
violent as you say he is, then it should not be difficult for him to get 'caught
in the act.'
If finances do not permit this, there should be social programs which have
some means of monitoring suspected child abusers. I would consult with your
case worker on this issue to find out the extent of your 'free' options.

Unfortunately peoples hands are tied due to the court order and basically they need to wait untill a child is harmed severly enough to be able to take action. It's tragic that such an action needs to even happen beforehand and that prevention isn't more easily available. I can see why it needs to be that way though, even if I still believe it to be imperfect in all situations.

Nobody else questions the decisions and rulings that judges are able to make on a whim or in light of all pertinent evedince when deciding the future fate of innocent children? This is not to say I support one way or the other a mother over a father but soley the best interest of each child on an individual level. I don't think these cases are always so cut and dry and should be handled in a mass solution fits all manner.
Here in Florida, judges routinely yank children from foster families, that have cared for the children from birth and who the child looks up to as loving parents, to the biological parent when they come back from their drug binges or prison terms and want the kid back. They rip these kids away from the only secure place they have ever known and award custody to people who should not even procreate, much less parent a child. The main point I want to make though, is that no matter how poor the judges decision is, they have qualified immunity from civil or criminal judgements in just about everything they officially do. They can even overturn a juries conviction if they want to. Your only recourse against a judge, that won't hold you in contempt or get you arrested, is to file a complaint with the Juduicial Qualifications Commission (they oversee judges and have the power to impose sanctions on judges here) Like the AMA board that can suspend a doctor from practicing medicine. It doesn't happen often though and the cards are always stacked in their favor. Documentation, evidence and witnesses to your cause are critical. Good luck...I think I have only seen this happen to 2 or 3 judges in the last 20 years around here.
Also, you could talk to the media and sometimes they will pull the judges decisions and ctritique them, causing embarrassment which could forgo the judge getting reelected to sit on the bench.
Good luck as it is a hard road ahead.🙂
