The post that was quoted here has been removedPrior to this election, the most votes ever received was by Obama; the second most was by Hillary. Given that Kamala isn't disliked by her own party like Hillary was (like by Sanders' supporters) , there's a good chance that she would've done just as well, if not better than Biden.

The post that was quoted here has been removedObama received more votes than Hillary did when she ran against Trump, and previously held the record for most votes received in an election. I doubt racism would've given Trump the edge in 2016 if Obama could've run against Trump. Given that Hillary won more votes than Trump, there's no reason to believe race or sex would've kept Kamala from receiving more votes as well.
And as I mentioned, Hillary was disliked even by her own voters; so is Biden. Kamala wouldn't have had that problem.
Besides, if racism would've been enough to stop Kamala in this election, it should've been enough to stop Biden as well, given Kamala's his VP.

@vivify saidActually the pandemic had little effect on Trump's popularity; if anything his net disapproval on the eve of the election was better than it was in January 2020. I https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/?cid=rrpromo
I wasn't one of them. In fact prior to the U.S. entering lockdown due to the pandemic, I predicted Trump would win. When it became clear the pandemic adversely affected Trump's popularity, I posted that Trump would lose by an incredibly slim margin.
