@kevcvs57 saidCorrect. As to posting links, in 'college' debates we had no links, just our brains and talent. No links, so I guess I still have that state of mind. A subject pops up, being explained or all over the news, and we tackle it.
That’s because Joe never ever ever posts a link to support or explain his screaming man on fire thread titles.
I’m guessing there is a campaign on to encourage whoever decides these things to not give St Augusta / Georgia the prestigious Masters golf tournament because of Georgia state legislatures recent attempts at voter suppression.
They are not shutting Augusta down or ...[text shortened]... World Cup if it was due to be played there because of all the people that have been shot and stuff.
But, I will try to start doing that, guess I need to keep up with the times. Like, I need to realize it is OK to allow invaders to overrun our sovereignty at the border. Hey, I need to get with the program!!!

Just so non-US posters like Shav will know,
The golf course at Augusta Georgia is undoubtedly, the most beautiful course in the US. They pour a ton of $$ to keep it that way. With that said:
We are not talking ancient history only here, like a 200 year old statue that some folks want torn down. Augusta has a lot more than tradition, as it currently hosts the most prestigious PGA golf tourney on tour and in the US. Very rich in tradition.
Trying to move the Masters out of Augusta would kinda be like moving Manchester United out of Manchester or the New York Yankees out of New York City.
'TAINT GONNA HAPPEN.
@earl-of-trumps saidSounds like St Andrews, the home of golf, you say unenjoyable some would say challenging. The money they are earning, they should not be enjoying themselves.
That's right, and it routinely gets so windy there from ocean breezes that it makes playing unenjoyable
I didn’t know it was a statue thing. From a commercial point of view it could be a problem for TV rights and advertisers / sponsors.

I've seen a golf tourney postponed in the afternoon when the day was half over because of the wind.
St. Andrews is awesome, btw.
@earl-of-trumps saidSome people will never get the tradition of the wearing of the green jacket.
Augusta National. Routinely ranked as the greatest golf course in the United States
by Golf Digest, Augusta National is picturesque from seemingly every angle.
suck on that, you frigging waste of time.

The post that was quoted here has been removedLast paragraph a poor analogy. Anyway, you purport to know just about everything so I guess you know that golf course.I will put it this way. If you have walked it on Masters weekend, you would UNDOUBTEDLY say it is the most beautiful of all golf courses. Well, may YOU wouldn't, being an automatic contrarian, but the average (non-racist?) person would. Sorry, seems like racism is supposed to be mentioned in all your participating threads?
No, no one would argue that the wind-blown Pebble is more beautiful. Are you speaking of the ocean, which are a dime dozen? We talkin' here 'bout a golf course, for god sakes. You lose. 😕 🙁 😞
