Not a peep can be heard about Obama deciding to play golf with the director of Haliburton, who the left recognizes as the root of all evil in the world.

Obviously, Obama isn't merely golf. It's very likely some kind of negotiating it's going on; probably in favor changing whatever "evil" there is.

Bush was in bed with Haliburton

Obama is in bed with Haliburton

As Bush said about Clinton- he's my brother by another mother.

    They are all the same.

Take a look at the Halliburton director Obama played golf with:

    http://www.centerpointenergy.com/about/leadership/meettheboardofdirectors/

    or
    http://www.halliburton.com/en-US/about-us/corporate-governance/board-of-directors/default.page?node-id=hgeyxt6f

    or

    http://www.bloomberg.com/ss/10/02/0211_gold_plated_boardroom/6.htm

The third link suggests, via the $$ involved, that his Halliburton link is not a major part of his life.

    In come the apologists

What percentage of people believe in truth and not party allegiance? I'd say about 10-30%.

The CEO of Halliburton is playing golf with your idol in hopes of getting goodies. That's fine. The real question is: will the CEO indeed get any goodies for his efforts? If he does, then there will be plenty of peeps.

Is there something untrue in what I posted? Show me it is, and I will correct it.

You often read much more into what people say, than they say.

    Oh, boo hoo.

Halliburton is the Devil, except that they employ 80,000 people. Good luck replacing their contribution to the economy.

Obviously, corruption and graft, wherever it is, should be fought and punished. But this reckless guilt-by-association-to-the-big-evil-corporate-bad-guy that appears to be engaged in with equal vigor by the far left wackos and the far right wackos is nothing if not amusing.

To Democrats Halliburton is the Devil.

Obama can't pass the oil pipeline on one hand, but meets with Halliburton on the golf course on the other hand.
