If he runs against Trump, he can win.

1. I don't think he can get the Dem nomination unless Hillary implodes.

2. I still don't think Trump will be the GOP nominee.
Loosely translated: In Jan of 2017 the formal title will be "Madam President"

You think, or you hope? Wishing away poll results led me to much grief last time around. 🙂
It's still early. Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani and Wesley Clark were still doing well this late in the cycle in previous elections.

I'll admit Trump's odds have gotten shorter in my mind, but I'll still easily take the field against him. I'd still take the field and probably give 5-1 odds.

I can see Canada from afar?? I live not far from the Canadian border norm, and have been there many times, and as far as "talks of secession every year" the same can be said for Texas. That does not change the fact that Canada has a consistently strong economy despite the howlings of right wing loonies about their socialist tendencies.

Left wingers know only one thing, how to obtain power. They will consistantly subvert and dominate governments around the world through democratic means or military means. It's all they know, it's all they care about.

Don't forget to mention that left wingers also killed baby Jesus and released the plague.

The baby Jesus evaded the evil statist king Herod by fleeing to Egypt. Don't you read your Bible?

As for the plague, statism is a plague and a disease of the heart, prompted by greed and power.

Norm....you're being evasive. I'm still waiting for you explaination on how Canada can maintain a strong and vibrant economy despite being more socialist than the USA. I know it's fun to trash talk the liberals, but you seem to be running away from the truth.

His father was a great man, but the NDP results were a huge disappointment for genuine socialists in Canada, and if anyone seriously sees Trudeau as some kind of great centre-left reformer, this sort of activity does not bode well:

Sure, just as soon as you tell me why Greece is in the crapper.

Let me guess, it's the evil banks.

Good thing Canada is immune from the evil banks, eh?

Why do you think Greece is "in the crapper?"

Greece is still having problems norm because of the government waste and corruption that has gone on for decades, despite recent signs of improvement, Greece still has work to do before their economy is on solid footing without bailouts from the EU. Correcting decades of bad economic habits is not something that happens in 3-4 years. Good things sometimes take time. Now.....I'm still waiting to hear about Canada.
