This could be the subject of a thread. You first sentence mentions people running their own lives, to-wit, health care. No argument there. Wild, I don't want someone else to make my decisions.
Then, you say perfectly-founded statements that we need to leave doctors, women, political leaders alone....to put the best ideas forward so states can decide for themselve ...[text shortened]... There are Federal laws, and their respective state laws.
I really wonder what you mean by that.
Why would a state get to decide anything for anyone regarding their own bodies, sexual preferences, parenthood or anything else?
Self reliant pfft you guys are the biggest control freaks on the planet.

You may note that the common denominator of all of our policies would be to get you dependents out of the way, so that we can work. (yeah, and indeed be self-reliant) It is that simple. Oh, and to have our judges follow the law. I think that their decisions are what you speak of in your first sentence.
Is my point too simple? I can re-write it. 🤔

I dont care about sex pref, other's bodies, etc.
But to Parenthood......If you libs take my tax money to pay for other people's children, that is morally wrong. I am saving money to buy an expensive French Chalet (not really) , but you knock on my door and say you need the money for some pregnancy outbreak, whatever that might entail .
So your question backatcha..."Why would a state get to decide (your words) what I do with my money?"
C'mon, kev, you can do this.
