Doesn't seem like liberty, if we want the political leaders to scrub in to the doctor's office.

Then, you say perfectly-founded statements that we need to leave doctors, women, political leaders alone....to put the best ideas forward so states can decide for themselves. (That would include abortion, if I may say, not to make that a pasrt of this discussion). Each state.
Finally, your curious reference to Liberty, that politicians should not be involved with Doctors. But do we not need politicians to pass and enforce laws which are on the books applying to doctors? What do you mean by that? They have to travel under the same restrictions, every one them. There are Federal laws, and their respective state laws.
I really wonder what you mean by that.
