“San Francisco is being engulfed by a “tidal wave” of overdoses with deadly fentanyl claiming 62 lives out of 71 total deaths from drug overdoses last month, according to grim statistics released by city’s Medical Examiner’s office.”

that is ONE MONTH

There does seem, to me, to be a slight difference between overdosing and shooting a class full of other people…

That being said, besides the article you refer to being extremist crap, the drugs problem itself does seem rather worrying.

What matters, when comparing gun related violence and overdosing is who’s doing harm to whom.

72 overdoses in a month in a city of how many millions is a tidal wave ?

remind me again, were you one of the clowns that haunt his forum that said the number of deaths caused by guns is insignificant and there is no need to enact gun control?

Uh… are you suggesting the drug dealers are to blame for people overdosing themselves…

Really… please say yes…

We can do something about the fentanyl crisis while fighting gun violence. It's not one or the other.

how many shooting deaths in said city is a tidal wave?

as you can see in my post drug deaths are twice that of gun deaths…you only have a problem with the lesser…why is that?

exactly…why do you only complain of one?

yes 100%
So people who make guns and sell guns are responsible for all gun related deaths.

100%.

😁

Well, we know who to tackle then, wouldn’t you say?

I've made started threads about the opioid crisis and how the drug companies get away with fines rather than their executive officers going to prison.
