If we are unable to remove Alquaeda then they must be contained and not allowed to plan attacks.
The only way to do this is to increase surveillance. It began in America with airports and no doubt will continue in Britain with public transport due to this attack.
Internet conversations and phone calls have been and are being monitored more and more closely. Identity cards are on the brink of being introduced in the UK and stop and searches have increased dramatically.
Every attack represents another loss of freedom.
