Let's see... hmmm... A guy in love with himself, who is writing a scary story on RHP about the end of the world? Whap! Whap! Whap!
Kind of? A guy who looks in the mirror and sees all sorts of frightening things?
Ok. I give up. What?
The "dead"? or "the quick and the dead"?

The ohio? the mississippi? The shenandoah ? The Orkhon River valley? I did enjoy that one. No end.
But then I was studying "barbarity". In a slim hope of understanding the current 8th century barbarians. I learned a bit. I am ignorant still. But I at least gave it a shot. Nothin' like brushin' up on yer' Ghingis Khan eh?

It's much more real when you have to fight the horse flies. Oh well.

That's what I thought. Actually saying something relevent might mean leaving your ego unattended for a few minutes.
Fear does not come from the terrorists, it comes from within ourselves. The government does not control us, we control ourselves with our own fear, guilt and greed.
Changes will not happen on a global scale unless we all, globally accept ourselves and others. We have two choices either we accept this and get on with it. Making small changes initially then leading to larger or we await the next disaster, man made or not to make the choice for us. I believe, unlike our governments, that we are all capable of making these choices. We have seen the act of human spirit in crisis and know that inherently we are one people. We all know we need to do this and it is inevitable, the longer we wait, the more people die.

Let me guess. By lessening the butchery and slaughter and demeaning it to an implied "trivial" matter you are doing what?
Do you ever stop to think before spouting your hate?
I'm sure that the people killed today by your heros know you as the enemy. If not now, then someday.
Being disparaging of the hysteria is belittling the the violence and deaths? Well logic and clarity never were your strong suits...
I can already see I have several more "hysteria" posts to get through, excuse me if I dont bother with yours...

You do realize that all you have to do to totally make me a fool is deny that you enjoyed it all?

Britain has faced this fear before, there is no answer to it because it is not a question.

There is no answer to it because it ain't a question? What is it then? Death by default? Or by 8th century idiots of a like mind with you?
Ya know? for being "thequick" you sure seem slow and stupid. Why is that?

Like the cameras in a big brother film, behind one way mirrors. You look and all you can see is yourself. Truly frightening..
I could get all mushy, offer sympathy, deplore the violence, etc, etc... however since you are all long dead and buried from my perspective (read my profile), I'd be inclined to also give condolences to those who are still "living"...
Needless to say, the tragedy doesn't really affect me as it does you earthlings. Dont expect false sympathy from me.
What interests me is your reaction to these events. Dead people dont have reactions so what I'm talking about has nothing to do with belittling their deaths. Your over-reaction to my words seems to indicate far more vanity, self-satisfaction and pride than mine.
Now, even considering the death toll has gone up, the IRA have cuased more deaths than al-queda in britain, and al-queda have killed more people in other countries, indeed more britains if you count iraq.
When they started calling this "the worst terrorist attack in britain" there were only about 33 confirmed deaths, in other words it only took the numbers to be one more than the previous largest number of deaths for people to get over-excited about it, despite the fact they had to treat seperate incidents as one attack to get that figure.
In other words al-quedas masterfull strategy (whether you like 'em or loath 'em, it is good strategy) of using multiple attacks has again paid of with mass publicity and press over-reaction. I'm dissappointed with the british because after the IRA I would have thought they could handle it calmly and not allow the terrorists the satisfaction of having commited "the worst terrorist attack in britain".
Now, you can either choose to have another futile attempt at throwing personal insults or you could debate the point I'm really trying to make... your choice.

Things have a tendency to look slow when you can't keep up with them... Try getting a good standpoint.
'Do not walk behind me for I may not lead. Do not walk in front of me for I may not follow. In fact get the heck away from me'.

Schizo Stan dancing down a dusty street in Melbourne? All that "get away from me" reminds me of him.
