New Inhertance Tax, if you inherit the family farm you gotta pay so much to keep it it, you have to sell it? Is that what the idiot politicians want?

I don't really have anything to say about this myself but a number of comments popped into my head inspired by right wingers comments in the past.

Inspired by sh76: If they can't afford to keep the farm they don't deserve to own it.

Inspired by random guy complaining about anti Trump protests: Only a**holes block the roads for political protest ruining everyone's commute.

Inspired by multiple random people: These "farmers" were paid protestors not real farmers.

Inspired by Cliff Mashburn: They should send in the Army to remove this criminal mob who vandalized police property.

In the US, when there's an estate tax on these types of businesses, the IRS lets you pay it over time with a payment plan. I don't know if the UK allows the same.

The part about "the farm is worth millions of pounds but doesn't generate a profit" is what I don't get. If I owned a business that didn't make a profit but I could sell it for millions, I'd sell it right away. Any rational person would. Use the proceeds to go invest in a business that makes money.

Their value might be artificially inflated. This would allow the owner to use it as collateral for loans or it might be for money laundering purposes. People use inflated home values for money laundering.

The farmers who didn't illegally park their tractors in the city.

I do that I get my car towed and have to spend thousands of dollars to get it back. Why should these MILLIONAIRES be above the law?

Why should family farms being passed down from generation to generation be taxed at all? Just because a parent dies, the state wants to step in and charge the children money ?
Any kind of inheritance tax is evil and only a fool would support such a concept.
