Well I do believe I'm going to leave the Republican party, where to
sign up? Conservative people have a party in the US?

Compared to most of the rest of the world, the democrats are already a bunch of right wing, conservative, religious, nutters.

However, I believe Austria and Zimbabwe may still be able to help you out.

There haven't been any conservatives in the Democratic Party for at least 3 decades.......at least any that have a chance to be living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Best you can do KellyJay is join us independent conservatives for a while and hope the Republican Party returns to it conservative base in 4 years.

Its interesting election year, McCain (the Manchurian Candidate) may tear the Repubican Party apart and Hillary and Obama may tear the Democratic Party apart, especially if it comes down to brokered convention, some talking heads on PMSNBC were suggesting that Hillary and Obama would run together.... question is... who gets to be on top.

As for this conservative, I'll voluntarily submit to a waterboarding session at Club Gitmo rather than vote for McCain

I'm thinking of starting the Federalist Insurgents party. Maybe someday it will get off the ground and you can join.

My reason for entertaining the thought of leaving the RNC is
because it is becoming the liberal right, the DNC is the liberal
left, and neither of those appeal to me in the least.

Obama would be better off avoiding that, you get a Hillbilly in Clinton
if Obama takes the VP job it and him will be meaningless.

He was a social liberal, just conservative on foreign policy

I'd laugh my butt off if McCain ask him to be his VP .... it be a interesting choice

There is a problem KellyJay, the two party system has a monopoly strangle hold on politics in the US. I say the best way to defeat it is from within. Perhaps a libertarian like assult from within one of the major parties would suffice such as what Ron Paul did this year.....only have someone with a little charisma and good communications skills to boot. 😉

Only you would then be obligated to support abortion on demand. I believe that is one of the requirements.
