well, you fail to understand that what we hate was how money and power would get the weasel Trump out of fighting in a war, while poor young americans didn't have that luxury.

He didn't protest against the war. He didn't get his daddy to lobby against the war. He got his daddy to get him and only him out of that war.

he flew combat missions over enemy territory into direct fire. He could have polished a chair with his ass in Washington.

This is one difference between right wing asholes like you and leftists. Leftists may be against war but they aren't against the people who fought in them who suffered because of it.
McCain was a prisoner of war for 5 years, suffered beatings every damn day. You sniveling maggot wouldn't have lasted 1 week. However wrong that war was, however wrong the policies he supported as a politician were, McCain deserves respect, not scorn, especially from cowards like Trump and you.

Ali was a conscientious objector, when people were looked down upon for that. He paid for that decision. Trump is an excuse-maker, even today.
