You wrote this in December. Ruined my Christmas. But when I realized that no one had anything to throw him in jail about, no harm done, I sort of forgot about it. And had a nice Christmas.
I like everyone started to see that his rambunctious ways had to be acknowledged , as he is just Trump, but he never really hurt anybody. I think Bill Clinton bit one of his girlfriend‘s lip where it bled.
Curious. Who has he hurt? Of course, you can discount any references to his personal life, girlfriends, etc. He probably broke a few hearts. The ONLY reason Trump is not in prison RIGHT now is he got reelected. End of story.
It is his political power keeping him out of jail and if he does NOT succeed in becoming a dictator he may yet go to prison in '28 after he is no longer POTUS, assuming he actually does a peaceful transfer of power which is about 50 50 right now.

This one is locked in the past, for sure. Now we have him saying Trump will be in prison. Well, it won't be for the horrendously fabricated, doctored, renamed misdemeanors of journal entries where there were no victims, and it won't be for girl escapades, and, oh, the documents of he and Biden which never hurt anybody, although I think one of Biden's fell off a garage shelf and hurt a Venezuan house cleaner.

Well, I am certainly not in favor of Trump or Musk or any of their activities these past 9 or 10 weeks.

I hope that the rule of law does prevail, the sooner the better. I would be surprised, disappointed, and ill-prepared if it does not.

I imagine that disillusionment with Trump and his admin and loyalists might grow among his erstwhile supporters as his chaotic and destructive activities increasingly affect them and theirs along with everyone else.

Musk is taking a wrecking ball to our government. Nothing in the way of thoughtful culling, just a random list with no idea of what problems could be caused by not being able to talk to someone in whatever agency they are killing today.
There might be ways to reduce staff with careful looks at waste and so forth but there is none of that. Like the Bird Flu scientists, fired, then OOPS, come back home and the same with the Nuclear boys.
Then we get Hegseth signalgate.
