Well it’s a good job you are not the arbiter of what is ethical then isn’t it.

“ Blimey, and you're the socialist here!”
Lolz for your Daily Mail cartoon idea of what a socialist is. One thing a socialist would insist upon is a safe environment for the elderly and infirm. You must be thinking of some other kind of ‘ist’

But I stand by my point. If they want to make it mandatory (which I think there is reasonable excuse for doing), they have to offer alternatives to people who don't want to be vaccinated.

This whole thread is based on a red herring.
No one is being forced to get vaccinated but certain professions will be ring fenced for those who have been and for justifiable reasons.

Seems to me that as long as these healthcare workers wear a mask when working with the elderly much of the problem would be solved.

Anyone working the the elderly should wear a mask when working with the elderly if the elderly person wants the other person to wear a mask. Seems to me the elderly person should have the choice here, not a dictatorial government.

You know, the same government that put recovering covid patients into retirement homes.

@divegeester

Vaccines are an attempt to protect the elderly from the virus.

Masks are another way to protect the elderly from the virus, without the need for a vaccine.

Forcing vaccinations just goes to show that the UK wants to be like China and Russia.

Sh76 is an American who wants the US to be like China and Russia as well. That was just to point out that we have those kinds of people in the US as well.
