Does your answer contain less than a million zeros to the right of a decimal point?
100,000 Hummers are just the tip of the ice berg. Whats the total number of SUV's currently on the market as well. What would America's oil consumption be like if instead of adopting Hummers and Escalades they had been provided with EV1's. What if instead of being so blase about oil consumption they had said you know what Ford and Carter got us on the right track, lets demand the same improvement again and lets be free of foreign oil by the year 2000. But hey Ronnie and GH were too worried about external evil empires to worry about the one they were helping to feed by not wanting to practice any conservative restraint, in the matter of only using what Americans needed to. If they had kept the flame of Ford and Carter's efficiency programs, America would certainly not be dependent on foreign oil by now.

Yeah I know according to you I am ducking the question by spouting questionable diversionary bs.

Well for one who doesn't quite read from the same page on global warming, trying to convince you about it is hardly going to be anything other than a waste of my time isnt it. Its like trying to convince someone about creation when they are agnostic and all you have is the bible as a reference. Its not what they recognise as a valid source so why butt heads. You get it or you don't.

You don't. That's okay you're in good company. Sarah Palin doesn't either. You seem like someone who will absolutely appreciate her point of view. Hope you get along.

You're not the most imaginative boy in the playground, are you?
No need to apologise, the effect on you might be measured in one extra quarter of a drop of water on the roof of your house in a lifetime, or is it one quarter of a drop less, either answer would be an exageration, and just goes to prove - baseless hysterical ranting from kmax.

More like you've got your head stuck in the sand with your fingers in your ears.

As for effects, does Beijing have filthy air or is it just foggy?

Could you answer my question, if you can banish kmax from your thoughts for a moment?

"...a pro-Hummer population."

Can you define a "pro-Hummer population." Bosse, it would seem Hummers constitute a tiny tiny tiny fraction of the vehicular make-up of the States. At what percentage does a populace become pro-Hummer. It's nothing like 51% not even 5.1%, does .51% Hummer ownership represent a "pro-Hummer population"? You're not exagerating again are you?

When will the hard sell of Alaska's natural wilderness begin? Just a coincidence that a certain VP happens to be a Governor somewhere?
Didn't you here? We're going to drill baby, drill!

Hello.🙂 I must confess that I have a real problem accepting that that there is a significant percentage of the American people that believe drilling in Alaska for oil is a good idea. It is true that my opinion concerning the intelligence of the average American has really taken a beating over the last few years, but it can not be that there are millions of people in this country that believe a country which uses about 25% of the world's oil and has about 3% of the world's oil reserves can drill it's way out of that very simple bit of arithmetic. They could not possibly be that stupid and still have jobs, driver's licenses, and, most importantly, voter's registration cards.
