This industry in the US is propped up by government money so that farms are too important to fail. That's fine.

The value of US agricultural output is on average $543,000,000,000 pa. Did you say the subsidy went up to $34 billion ? Thats about 6%. A small subsidy really.

The $34 billion number is now higher thanks to trump. He gave them more money and didn't even say what it was for.

A waste of tax dollars. The administration that claims to want to shrink government has accelerated spending once again on junk that helps the rich but doesn't help taxpayers

My comment was about the backwards economy, not his actions. He took advantage of a corrupt system. Tax money should not be supporting rich farmers extravagant lifestyles.
