@no1marauder saidLet them die is exactly what Cuomo did by forcing nursing homes to take covid patients, exposing high numbers of elderly.
I can only imagine what it would have been if we had adopted your "let 'em die" policy prescriptions.
Of course, I didn't say Cuomo did a "great job"; why do you feel the need to parrot right wing BS propaganda all the time?
Why? To save space in hospitals that were never full. They were never full due to extra hospitals opening up making more than enough space. The elderly were exposed and killed off for no reason.
@eladar saidWe've gone over this propaganda point of yours in several threads; it is a lie and you know it.

@no1marauder saidSo Cuomo did not order nursing homes to take in covid patients? Or did New York run out of hospital beds?

@eladar saidNope, not if they couldn't safely.
So Cuomo did not order nursing homes to take in covid patients? Or did New York run out of hospital beds?
And why would you keep people in hospital beds IF they had sufficiently recovered not to require them?
I helpfully bumped the prior thread where this BS argument was exposed. You seem to want to bring in up in every thread because you think it is a useful political propaganda point even if it is a bunch of baloney.
@no1marauder saidThere is no way to safely introduce covid to nursing homes.

@no1marauder saidOf course not, because I am right. The death rates of New York and New Jersey reflect the policy.
I'm not going to respond to this propaganda point here.
@no1marauder
Then stay out of this one since you do not want to mention a specific state that is out of control.

Not anymore.
It was called the Spanish flu.

Not anymore.
Yeah, now it's called "The flu that didn't originate in Spain".
A bit unwieldy perhaps, but this is the price we pay for satisfying a nitpickers insatiable desire to pick away at every little nit.
@lemon-lime saidEpidemiologists, believing it unfair to hang the blame on Spain, call it the 1918 flu pandemic. Just imagine how many slanderous errors the world would have to absorb if it weren't for nitpickers.

@handyandy saidAnd make that some epidemiologists. You know, the liberal kind.
