Bill Pulte... Has no intelligence experience, no military experience, no government service experience of any kind.
How could you possibly have any idea how to run a massive government agency? What qualifications did he have to earn this position over the hundreds of other potential candidates?
This seems like a joke.
@wildgrass saidIt is a joke. Only qualification is he has been a major ass kisser in dump's cabinet.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidKetanji Brown Jackson. Does that name ring a bell moron?
he is white and a male...you know, the same criteria biden used to pick a scotus member
@Mott-The-Hoople saidThey were judges with law degrees and decades of experience.

How is this guy supposed to head an intelligence agency with zero hours ever working in the field or in the military or in government?
It would be like if you asked the plumber who just fixed your toilet and never completed high school if he could serve as superintendant of a massive school district.
Or maybe someone who was a CEO of a very successful Fortune 500 company but now you ask him to fix your toilet.
But instead of that this rando has been asked to run extremely sensitive, complicated operations across multiple intelligence agencies without any work experience in any way that would be relevant to the job title.
Excuse me sir, I know your only job experience is flipping burgers at Wendy's but would you mind lecturing 4th year medical students on current practices in cardiac surgery?
And the guy replies "Sure I can do that".... what?
Very weird.
@wildgrass saidHes just a placeholder until after the midterms. Trump likely wants HPSCI Chairman Rick Crawford but can't afford to give up yet another GOP seat in the house. If the GOP loses the house it will be moot, and if they keep the house and pick up a few seats he can appoint Crawford. In the meantime Deputy DNI Aaron Lucas remains in place to keep things on track.

@Sleepyguy saidThen thats even dumber. There are 100 bookmarks that could be used as placeholders prior to bedtime but instead you choose a pistachio.

@wildgrass saidWhen you can't trust the bookmarks, use the pistachio.

@Sleepyguy saidOk but the bookmarks in the analogy are people with even a few hours of experience in military intelligence. If none of them are to be trusted by our own government, why are we increasing their funding?

@wildgrass saidWell I can only guess the DNI is too important a position to give to someone you don't trust, and Trump has good reason not trust creatures from the intelligence community. Many of them can't be happy with how the ODNI has been used by Gabbard to reach into all their secret silos and declassify their dirty secrets. They would rather return to business as usual and Trump doesn't want to.

@Sleepyguy saidIf no one with an hours experience in intelligence is trustworthy enough to run the agency, it is a complete waste of tax dollars and should be disbanded.

Of course there are bad actors, but sheesh, even a layman could find a few people with experience to run the apparatus.
There seems to be something more afoot here.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidSo who of the judges has no judical experience?
he is white and a male...you know, the same criteria biden used to pick a scotus member
