If I was interviewing people for a job and I found out they held ANY position in Trump's Cabinet, it would be a big fat NO for them. I would be looking for people who can do the job, not simple suck-ups, unlike Trump.

But, I ain't ABOUT to look into his qualifications, as we have elected officials who do that , and .....follow me....know a hell of a lot more than we do....about the process, and about the background of this candidate. Off to play golf while our elected officials sort out such matters. Now, if you are up there, in the room, to help with the decisions, look up what you need to know and get it done.

You could look up the facts that he hasn't served in the military, has never worked in intelligence, and doesn't have any experience in government in less time than it took to write this post.

What other qualifications would supersed the lack of all of these deficiencies?

Of course there is varied competencies for people who DO have relevant job experience, but it's the other way around. This guy has no qualifications. Are you trying to say that qualifications are not important for selecting job applicants?

I honestly don't know how you would do this job if you don't even know anything about the profession. They might as well hire a bunch of children to comb through all the government agencies looking for waste and fraud. Oh wait, they already did that.

Amazingly, I am actually following you.... but you are making the opposite point (sometimes well-trained people do dumb things) and that point is irrelevant to this thread.

Of course it is obvious that there are differences in ability among people trained for a job. 10 race car drivers, some are faster than others, some might actually crash the race car on occasion.. But someone who has never driven a race car doesn't even know how to turn it on, much less compete against the worst race car driver in the field. You cannot have an untrained person running the largest military intelligence agency on the planet. Something bad will happen. It's like letting a toddler run the nuclear power plant.
