@averagejoe1 saidHave you ever ( and I mean EVER) NOT been afraid of something?
No, actually I warn that part of the weakening of our society, the greatest country, is due to more and more people become dependent on other people. 49% will eventually support the other 51%, which will lead to 48%/52%, then 47%/53%,,,,,,,it will sink under its own weight.
Sorry to upset everyone, I am just trying to help those of you don't see that to get off your asses. Just how long can Shav, for instance, drive around with his top down?
There's that Republican indoctrination again. Always gotta have something to be afraid of. Even if you have to make it up.
@suzianne saidBenefits? You will have to define that....it has a hint of government taint about it. The essence of economics is that God made us to produce....you know, the 'go forth' part. Growth. The incentive model of growth is an important counterpoint to socialism. We don't need incentives to consume, we know we have to consume....the incentive to produce, you have to remove impediments. We produce in order to consume,.. production has to come first, production provides the means for consumption. You can only consume what you produce, and you can only consume what someone else has produced.
What you consistently miss is that those who do the most work in our society reap the least benefits.
I can't see how you honestly keep missing this fact.
There is a dignity in work, which I speak of. The progressives, like you, devalue work, in your search instead for benefits, because you eschew work, you want government, you don't want work. Work is a moral issue. Sue, there is no dignity in consuming those benefits.
I fear that you don't get this? The fact which YOU keep missing?
