I write this post in earnest. Does dammit everything have to change because of Woke? My 9-yr old granddaughter will face this. Even if they think that this will actually end women's sports, I don't see them introducing regulating legislation offering to codify when a transitional transgender can be allowed to participate (testosterone testing) and under what testing procedures should be standardized to reduce the impact on cisgender women. @AverageJoe1 Women's sports are going away. If a man competes in woman's sports, it is no longer a woman's sport. It is a combined, male/female sport, which the men will and are dominating. This is a fact. The man that competed in NCAA swimming was ranked 432 in the male events, and went on to win women's events. This is a fact, it happened. It is happening in cycling and weight lifting just to name a few other sports. I say they should make a mixed event if these men want to compete with women, that is if the women agree to compete with them.
Again, let's compare conservative and liberal mindset.
One or two men cheat and declare themselves women to compete in women sports. The conservatives jump to ban all transgender people everywhere, not just sports but shows, schools, government, bathrooms, whatever.
Mass shootings everywhere, all the time. Right wing nutjobs scream "You can't regulate guns, it doesn't work".
Thousands die from gun violence each year, not a peep from these nutjobs. One trans person finishes a race ahead of cis women, hold on to your pearls because there will be clutching.
