Average Joe has never spoken about rich,... he has spoken about opportunity , prosperity, self reliance. How people can get rich...but, I fear the new programs will make that difficult.

Deprogramming is probably a good idea. There is nothing redeeming about the Republican party right now. The party I've voted for my whole life. All they do is talk about wanting 'unity' while calling Joe Biden a radical leftist. They have no party platform. They spend themselves out of every crisis by enlarging the corporate welfare safety net. On aspects of fiscal conservatism and responsibility, Democrats do better.

Donald Trumps economy was completely dependent on Federal spending. Debt increased much faster under Trump than Obama, even though Trump was operating in a much better economy and without major military conflicts. He raised the national debt by $7.8 Trillion. $7.8 million times a million!!!! The pre-covid 2019 deficit was $984 billion.

What happened to the party of limited government? What happened to the party of fiscal responsibility? It's not radical leftists we should worry about regarding our march towards Socialism. Republicans are drastically increasing spending programs that benefit their constituents. Plebes may think Republicans might turn it around if only they had more time but I've heard hundreds of conservative pols talk about shrinking government and by gosh it blows up every time they're in charge.
