@paradox4 saidI find Marauder quite unconvincing for that matter.
Do you know Marauder et al are all for referring to people with pronouns instead of their names.
I've read several of Mr. Marauder's posts as well as yours. He communicates like an educated man; you communicate like someone who failed primary school, yet you claim to teach economics. I find your claim unconvincing
Tell me, has he convinced you that we should allow voting in this country without photo ID. Has he convinced you of that?
@sh76 saidYet meanwhile, Republicans in Congress and the Cabinet are wasting their time on Trump's hateful policies.
Sure it doesn't really affect anyone, but it's just another Dem own-goal.
Most people couldn't care less about this, but they'll look at this and think "they're really wasting their time on this crap??" It's impossible to take the liberal politicians seriously when they waste their time on this garbage.
Which 'time-wasting' is costing Americans more?
They cry over this nonsense when what they're doing is so much worse.

More than half the states already have laws in place requiring a picture ID when voting. This SAVE nonsense is not needed. Another stipulation in SAVE would end mail-in voting. This alone is its biggest non-starter. And now Trump wants it attached to his Defense spending bill. All this will do is insure neither gets passed.
@AverageJoe1 saidLegal language must evolve along with everything else because of efforts by conservative lawyers to hamstring the left.
I’m sorry? This is already covered by legal guardians , adoptive , or foster care, all parents. anyone who nurtures and cares for a child. Adoption or foster care, these are parents. Give me a break. You are reaching as usual..
This is exactly why many Americans have grown weary of the constant effort to reinvent language that has served society well for centuries. … ...[text shortened]... ne by natural normal citizen.
This trembling Hochul woman is a f’n mess, Mamdani et al own her,
And "trembling"? What is wrong with you?
@AverageJoe1 saidDon't get in everyone's way with your idiotic takes on the English language.
Translated, this is saying that before now, people COULD NOT be parents of a child without being their mother or father.
That is not true
Dream up some BS, then claim it's not true. This is about all you do.
@AverageJoe1 saidDo yourself a favor and buy yourself a good dictionary and then refer to it every day.
A pregnant female who has never had a child IS NOT the parent of the unborn baby. Haha, remember you libs have preached that a being in a womb is NOT even a baby!!!! So, HOW can the person carrying it be a parent!!?!?!?!???!?
hahahaha
Someday you might know what you're talking about.
@AverageJoe1 said"Y'all are trying to make queer people of everyone."
Why can't you leave what is set in stone alone? Look again, it does NOT need fixing.
Will I have to say to my buddies at coffee that my daughter is a gestating parent? Maybe not, as it is a court thing. Well, Will I have to call her my gestating parent if I am a witness at trial where she is being prosecuted for a traffic violation.
Would those seated in ...[text shortened]... use the term that the judge wants us to use, Marauder. We are talking about it being a court matter.
Just by saying this, people should be able to tell what sort of person you are.
What we try to do is ensure that people have choice. It's really too bad that this is so repugnant to you.
Just stop lying. You assume far too much. As usual.
@boonon saidIt's a question of morals. It's a person-defining metric.
Again we get more nonsense from you? What does this have anything to do with feeding the homeless?
I'd love it if Republicans actually saw their way clear to simply do the right thing, instead of continually trying to take away people's rights. You know, stop being hypocrites.
We both know that just isn't likely to happen.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidWhat issues are arising with you just continuing to do so?
what issues were arising when using the terms mother and father?
@AverageJoe1 saidIt doesn't change anything you have to do, idiot.

Some legal forms still required one parent to be designated as a "father" and the other as a "mother". The change will replace that language on such forms with more inclusive and accurate terms better reflecting modern realities of life.

Republicans: Studies generally show that conservative and Republican households donate a higher percentage of their income to charity than Democrats. This giving is heavily concentrated in religious institutions and local private causes.
Democrats: Democratic donors tend to prioritize secular, educational, civil rights, environmental, and international aid organizations.
And, note that it is difficult to listen to one who considers illegal alien invaders to have rights which they do not. Wrong right out of the gate.
So, in summary, repubs give more to charity, and you are imputing rights to illegals

You are Kamala on the Forum
@Suzianne saidPeople with a set of values will naturally tremble when boxed in to make decisions that are against their wishes. They tremble as they sign, say, a Bill proposed by a Socialist, a la Mamdani. I don't think that SHE is a socialist. If she is , she prob does not tremble, but is rather elated.
Legal language must evolve along with everything else because of efforts by conservative lawyers to hamstring the left.

And, tell us some more words in the english language which should be replaced, like a tran used to be something else.
