I will admit to not having read the entire article. This is why. It’s stated in one single paragraph, one sentence, “Look,if you want to eat fried chicken while traveling over the holidays, then Chick-fil-A should be open on Sundays”.. I simply cannot read something with a phrase like that in it. What does it mean? When one says that Chick-fil-A should be open on Sundays, who says that ? A person of mob mentality.? like, we have all decided that it should be open. Should be! Should be???
To me, a statement like that has literally no traction, there’s no impetus to follow it. And so I didn’t. Check RBT
@averagejoe1 saidNobody's telling them they have to be open Sunday. But hungry travelers who want food should be able to find it on Sunday. That's what the bill is about.

The Lord knows that all the poultry producers are still working, cracking chickens on Sunday, while the chick FIL a workers are sleeping in.

What in the hell does that mean, from whence does it come? What does it imply…. To say something ‘should’ be is to say it is being required to emanate from somewhere, Or, that the sandwich is a right of the traveler….. it should ready for the traveler. Like, are you saying that the govt has to provide the need of dependent travelers?
What do you mean? Should.

@averagejoe1 saidThis non reply from the scumbag who is so precious about his own border now being crossed by the cousins of those indigenous peoples, payback is a bitch
Oh god not the steal from Indians gambit.
3.8 million square miles was not owned by the Indians, you see. Anybody had a chance at grabbing it. Injuns shoulda put up a fence, adverse possession over that which they lived on. I would respect that move, but tribal wars being what they were (those dam Vikings, et al), they would have had to defend territory like Scots, Serbians, Texans.
You are sinking today Kev. Try a New Year’s resolution .
It’s not a gambit dummy it’s a recorded historical fact, you slaughtered most of them and put the rest in concentration / reservation camps in order to steal their god given land
@kmax87 saidIs it legitimate for you to force that person to move those articles from your path? Explain to us the nature of your path . To start with, is it yours? The path?
So it is legitimate to put obstacles in the path of someone else's pursuit?
I have a right to USA protection against illegal aliens, as I pursue happiness. Elaborate on that one for us.

@kevcvs57 saidSlaughtered? You watch too many movies. Mainly they just watched our wagon trains come on in. You probably think Cowboys wore those Clint Eastwood cowboy hats. Actually, they wore bowlers and basic hats with no crease in them. And they were hardly ever in shootouts. You need to check up on your history.

So here is Kev about payback. Kev, do you think we ought to pay reparations to the Black people of today? You have put yourself into a corner. Or do you actually believe we should?
@kevcvs57 saidKev blasphemes the love of border. A nasty fellow indeed.

But the fact remains that N America and S America were taken from the indigenous populations by force of arms
You now squat on a piece of that stolen land, that’s your culture and your heritage so you should maybe refrain from judging other cultures and other people’s heritage

@averagejoe1 saidRepublicans block abortions for rape victims. And you complain about opening on Sunday.
The owners, the Truitt family, close all stores on Sunday so that employees can be with families and worship God on Sunday.
The heathen libs in NYC tell them to get screwed and open up.
I agree: get screwed.
