Looks like Hillary still has fight left in her campaign taking Texas, Ohio and RI. It certainly gives her campaign a shot of momentum and dashes Obama's hope for a 'cakewalk' to the nomination .

Which country are we talking about?

Sorry, neither the thread title nor the post mention anything about which country's politics are we discussing.

World is big, you know.

How many countries is Hillary running in? Which election is a good deal of the world watching this year?

I guess you mean the U.S., though I'm not not sure.

The thing is, the world is too big, you know:

- Ukraine is threatening to cut gas supply for Europe
- Colombia is heading to a war with its neighbors
- Germany's airports were hit by a strike
- Gordon Brown is facing a key EU referendum
- Russia has a new leader
- Kenya is trying to rebuild itself
- the UN will most likely drop its next move regarding Iran's nuclear plans
- and many, many more etceteras.

So, please specify, because we, the world, are right now attentive of several issues simultaneously, all of them far more important than some elections which really won't make a difference in the world.

Then again, I may be just annoying you for the fun, amigo.

🙂

Tell me about it!

The puppet is by far a reliable source of original thinking and decision.

It's not very nice to have them as neighbors, you know 😞

Anyway, long time no read, how've you been lately, A?

Here's a nice big wordy opinion:
http://www.shaviro.com/Blog/

(Ends: "In other words, we are probably doomed to another four years of nightmare, with President McCain sending more and more troops abroad, and appointing judges to the Supreme Court who will repeal Roe v. Wade. My hunch at this point is that, come Election Day, it won’t even be close. (Of course, I admit that I have always held to Jerry Lewis’ maxim: “expect the worst, and then you will never be disappointed.&rdquo😉"

I find the 'cakewalk' reference discriminatory and demand that you retract it.

Man,

none of those countries have anyone called Hillary contesting an election!

The longer this goes on, the better it is for the Dems, as McCain slowly becomes an after thought

I think it's better for the republicans.

I suspect that the two democrat contenders will continue to dig up the dirt on each other, sling mud and do all the other nasty tricks they can to each other to win their party nomination, and the republicans can just sit back and watch the action, take notes, and wait.

....and the bottom line is that I just don't see any decent choices in either party. No matter who is elected, everyone loses.

The Republicans will play that stoic dignity card that they're so good at.

Has the catchy phrase "Obama-lam-a-lam, a-lam-a-lam-a-ding-dong" manifested anywhere in the media?
