"Win" is such a loaded term.

Nobody ever really wins. One can succeed in a relative sort of way for a while, but the universe always ends up killing the winners right along side the losers.

That being said, I liked the immediacy that Old John demonstrated.

I agree with Obomber that deciding whether to kill children is above his "pay grade." I just wonder why he then has repeatedly voted to allow live birth infanticide to remain legal. Oh. Sorry. I am supposed to use the sanitized "Live Birth Abortion", not live birth infanticide.

Besides, it will be a fun experience to have a president who admits that deciding legalities is above his paygrade while making light of Clarence Thomas's experience -- who is expected as a matter of course to make such decisions. Oboma can't even carry Thomas's chamber pot as far as wisdom and experience go.

we both know how we stand and how the candidates stand, so i would have to say obama won as his answers are going to be harder to spinoff unlike a few of mccains. its all about winning the independents with these kind of things

I prefer to call it the "let the baby die in the sink" procedure.

lol

"Independents" is a euphemism for "clueless". To be undecided just means that you are not smart enough to read and too busy watching soap opera to visit a news channel.

With that little clarification, I agree with you. It doesn't matter. They are both pretty much losers in my book. The good news is that we are all highly intelligent and peace loving animal lovers these days, so we don't need to worry about anything. Whoever is in charge will take good care of us. And they do it so well. Look at how wonderfully the government run education system works and how well our civilization has been educated by them. In the US these days, one out of ten college students can point to a world globe and show you where Europe is located. And almost two out of ten high-schoolers know that they can vote when they turn 18. Who can ask for more than that? We owe it all to our government. I am thankful that they will be in charge of my life, let me tell you.

Perhaps because there needs to be an exception for the life/health of the mother. President Clinton offered to pass a bill against "partial birth" abortions as long as there was this exception, but the Republicans in Congress didn't put such a bill together.
