@spruce112358 saidNo, I think they voted for economy, where he will excel, and 2ndly for getting rid of invaders. Here is a link in response to 'how much', as you and Sonhouse seem to be concerned about.
Sounds like you're gonna spend a LOT of gummint money!
Why'd they vote for you again? Oh right - cutting spending. 😆
Why do you find it OK for the trillions that the Kamala freak was going to spend on 'prooooooogggrrams', but it is NOT OK for Trump to use money for much more important things than paying off loans of Losers? Spruce?
You people are really a trip.
Secondly, your 'cutting spending' comment. Did you not see that the whole point of adding Elon 🙂 to his cabinet is to REDUCE our expenses by $2T???
You and Sonhouse always leave things out, you do not close your posts. Note that the $2T figure is the same amount that Sonhouse says the deportation will cost. Tell Sonhouse we will 'break even'.
Also note that uou did not answer me, why did he open the border?

@AverageJoe1 saidThe economy that is booming right now? He's gonna improve on "booming"?
No, I think they voted for economy,
That should be fun to watch. 😆
@spruce112358 saidWe could rap about the economy that you think you are referring to, as you omit the world of 20% inflation, Spruce. So all good, is it. Tell the average maid or persons who cannot heat their homes about how Biden worked day and night to improve our economy.

Why didn't Biden think of drilling? By just that, the genius Trump will solve inflation.
So, tell us with a straight face that the overall sorry-ass picture of our country was not caused by Sleepy-Joe.
@AverageJoe1 saidTheir analysis fails to take into account the economic loss that removing millions of workers from the economy would entail.
If Biden has plans to pay about $680B towards the debts incurred by people who borrowed their tuitions (and nothing for other citizens),,,,,what is wrong with spending $968B to rid ourselves of these invading people? Y’all have been saying there is no way he can do it….Apparently, there is.
“A critical near-term priority is finding the money to pay for it. An estim ...[text shortened]... the U.S. illegally could cost $968 billion over more than a decade, or roughly $88 billion a year”.
But even if Trump is serious about such an absurd plan (which as I already showed would necessitate the construction and maintenance of a vast system of detention camps), it won't get passed by the Senate unless the Republicans do away with the filibuster.
You've been a constant defender of anti-democratic practices like the filibuster (can't have "mob rule" can we?), so I assume you would loudly oppose any attempt by Republicans to do away with it just to enable Trump's plans.
Right?
@AverageJoe1 saidUS energy production hit record highs during the Biden administration. There was plenty more drilling, but more drilling can't possibly "solve" inflation for reasons I already explained to you i.e. IF prices fall, companies have no incentive to drill more and will, instead, cut back production (that's even assuming that other oil producing countries don't react to changes in US production).

There's a reason why Trump appeals mostly to the uneducated like yourself.
@AverageJoe1 saidWhy would the trump administration be trusted to do this after their complete failure to do anything last time?

"The international experience with inflation is shown in Figure 7 below. Here, inflation in the U.S. was elevated relative to the G10 for the first two years of the pandemic, but quickly reversed course at the start of 2022. Then, inflation began to fall and for a period was below the U.K., the eurozone, and the G10 median. Today, cumulative core inflation in the U.S. is approximately equal to all major competitors except Japan. However, what makes the U.S. experience so unique was that inflation was comparable across developed economies while growth in GDP, consumption, and employment was exceptional relative to competitors."

So there were spikes in inflation in virtually every advanced nation following COVID and these spikes have subsided by now. The US suffered this spike too, but its overall economic performance in the years after the pandemic was superior to other advanced nations.
@AverageJoe1 saidDrilling for oil? That's for suckers. Why not pan for GOLD?!
Why didn't Biden think of drilling?
Scheiße, you'd believe anything. 😆

@no1marauder saidYour post is irrelevant to what has happened under our leader Biden. If he were leading us in a desert and a cliff appeared before us, we would be 'a goin over that cliff.

Our readers will believe me, or they will absorb what you post here and draw their own conclusions. Hey everyone, all of this (20😵 is normal.

Right?
He says there will be detention camps, which has not been shown by Trump. We don't know yet, do we...
I would think you woujld know the importance of filibuster. Uhh, have you considered the swashbuckling that we conservatives could do in the Senate if there were no filibuster brakes??? You sure you want that.?
I would oppose any atempt to get rid of filibuster, no matter which party
@AverageJoe1 saidYou're gonna spend less, more, or stay the same.

@spruce112358 saidThe truth would have been a more useful argument then "price gouging".

The election was decided by about 2% percent and 2/3 of the People believed, incorrectly, that our economy was "poor" or "not good". Even a slight change in that perception and Donald Trump doesn't win.
@AverageJoe1 saidOK, I'll hold you to that.

I doubt Trump has any intention to follow through with such an impossible plan, it's just something he said to keep chumps like you happy. But anything on the scale he kept talking about in the campaign would necessitate large detention camps given the years long waiting period for deportation proceedings unless there'd be simply "catch and release" (which you right wingers scream about).
