The climate people are already complaining that it will keep the current system running which they say is bad for the environment.
I love it π€
Real infrastructure requires factories and machines to build or repair infrastructure.
That means jobs.
That means emissions.
That means the climate people just got kicked in the face.
The money spent on green tech is nothing compared to the money spent on improving and maintaining the current infrastructure.
Get those factories running!

Golly, can you imagine them doing socialistic things which can in effect control peoples’ lives, those who should make their own decisions, spend their hard earned money in the way that they think that it should be spent? Why I cannot imagine!!
@averagejoe1 saidSo you are taking a victory lap on the basis of choo choo train Biden's spending initiative, that he has always promoted, like forever, and somehow liberals have egg on their face......The sheer audacity.....

@kmax87 said? Anyway, Everyone, we need to fix infrastructure, like if dad at the dinner table told you to go the hardware store and get a new headgate for irrigating the South Pasture. No mention to you of the town council, mayor, anybody.

So Kev is still bringing up Trump? Are he and Suzianne giggling at the local pub about this meaningless post?.
Lets keep it simple….Trump, AvJoe, And Biden’s handlers think we need some infrastructure work. Whew.
You’re wandering, Kev. My granny would tell you ‘Dammit, Zero In, you lilly-livered Popinjay!!!!” π
@Contenchess

Let's see the work get done before we start celebrating π
@sonhouse saidI'm seeing 555M reported, not 1T?
Hey republicans, how many bills like THAT have you had done like EVER?

Anyway, it's fine. Sure we can't afford it, but that doesn't seem to matter much these days.
If you're going to deficit-spend, infrastructure is not a bad place to do it.
In all, I don't have a major problem and the fact that it did pass will make it harder to pass the larger and less necessary spend-for-the-sake-of-spending bill.
