Funny, that is how we USED to govern, dems bringing something in, repubs, arguing, they get together, work out a compromise.

Under Trump the ONLY thing the senate was interested in was JUDGES. THAT IS IT.

SCOTUS, local, HUNDREDS of ultrarightwingnut judges is what Moscow Mitch pushed through.

That and stop ANY bill coming from dems.

Do you remember his phrase 'I am the grim reaper', not giving a rats ass how such bills would have helped common folk.

Now it is Biden's turn and you want to twist it around where you THINK you are actually scoring some kind of anti Biden points but what is really going on here is you getting further and further out on your little ultrarightwingnut perch 20 feet out on a very skinny branch.

Obama tried too, but got a cut version of it.

Back then many states, reeling from recession-caused tax revenue losses, yet still facing a constitutional mandate to balance their budget, simply substituted federal “stimulus” dollars for their own. Contract data show 20 states actually put less money out for road and bridge work in either 2009 or 2010 than they had in 2008 — despite the “stimulus” funds.

Did Biden do anything to insure that will not happen again?
