@AverageJoe1 saidYou haven't talked to any workers lately. I've been shocked talking to young people to discover the number in tech pulling down $70k/year but who spend their days playing video games until they are given "something to do."
a federal employee taking a bubble bath, who sent an email to a friend bragging that he is at home.
If gummint workers have nothing to do, that's a legitimate concern. But where they are located matters little.

Follow me here............His 'location' in this video does indeed matter A LOT. If he were a heterosexual grown man having been hired to do a job, he would not be in this 'location'. Jesus. The bubble effect makes it difficult for you fellers to compose common sense.

@AverageJoe1 saidIf you're using realistic productivity metrics in employee evaluations, then for many jobs it doesn't matter if they're working from home. Ive heard many examples of people moving to work from home and having a lot more free time, but it's not because their productivity went down. It's because they did their job efficiently.
This poster, wild grass, wants to slow down the production of the United States, government of America by telling people to stay at home, which obviously reduces their creativity, their Their competitiveness, their desire to get ahead by impressing their Managers, their desire to produce more work than the person sitting next to them…
Are you liberals getting this… I ...[text shortened]... ernment.
Absolutely pitiful. He actually says “with good management”, when there is no managing.
If the government employees are not doing their jobs, they can be fired.
@wildgrass saidFrom a guy who wants to keep our borders open.. Wonder how large your following is? Y'all fight closing thr border, and today, a NEW fight from the libs.......fight our going after inefficient government!!!!!

You fellers, to quote a phrase, are a laughing stock.

@wildgrass saidI’m just trying to understand how liberal give-it-all-away people think it is normal for there to be hundreds of government owned office buildings, in which there are only one percent of government employees working physically on the premises.
You mistake me for a straw man.
Why all OK? How can you find this reasonable, what changed? Seriously.
@AverageJoe1 saidIn Europe, governments are cutting down on office space.

Sometimes office space is 50% or less per full time employer.
What changed was Corona. Suddenly everyone realised that a lot of desk work can be done at home. And simple meetings can be done online ( coordonation meetings and meetings which are just about the decision; not the phases before decision making).
This realisation meant a change in governance. Basically, from steering on being present to steering on results (I don’t know if “steering” is the correct term, it’s a literal translation).
And ultimately a large cut in costs (going from 80% workplace costs down to 50% or lower).
You would think you would be pleased at governments finding ways to cut costs, Joe.

@shavixmir saidI sort of get what you are saying, but it is comical that you mentioned having meetings. You have to look face-to-face with people to get something out of a real meeting. I am afraid you are thinking zoom?

Secondly, we can see what Elon Musk and Yamaswamy think about all of these empty office buildings, and the cost of all of this, as they know a lot more about it than we do. This administration will work, you see, unlike the last one.
Later on, I am going to start plugging out some of the things that Trump says and does, annd ask you …..if Kamala would have done what he is doing or, what would she have done?
Work? No, she don’t work, she don’t think.
@AverageJoe1 saidThere are many sorts of meetings you can do over zoom. / MS Teams.

And there are some meetings you can’t.
I already described which ones you can do.
@shavixmir saidA prediction from average Joe. Europe, maybe the rest of the world, will slowly drift into populism, following the lead of Donald Trump. I’m sure that you know that that is happening in his mind.
