Isolated outbreaks that did not lead to the virus spreading across the world are irrelevant.
You are ignoring the fact the virus became a worldwide problem after the outbreak in Wuhan. No one is claiming the virus first came into existence there. This is a straw man argument, and you are using it to claim what... that the straw man is wrong?

@Duchess64

Even if the virus was somehow modified in a virology lab, it doesn't mean the virus itself originated in Wuhan. This is another straw man I've seen you attack.

Your claim of racism is also a straw man. No one here has attacked Asians because they are Asian. Criticism of the Chinese is obviously aimed at the government of China, not its people. How does conflating government ideology with ethnicity or race work to support your claims of racism?
The answer is, it doesn't.

It's as though you are speaking to a roomful of straw men.

Other than on this forum, I’ve not read 1 report suggesting the virus started in Italy.

Other than on this forum and the forums of right-wing, incel, conspiracies, I’ve been led to believe the virus RNI shows it jumped from bats to a second species to humans.

And, according to the that same data you can see that the area “ground zero to the rest of the virus) starts around Wuhan.

The Black Death also originated in China.

There was no 'proof' that Covid-19 originated in a 'wet market' in Wuhan.
So why would the virus suddenly and exponentially grow, and begin spreading out from Wuhan province? If the initial outbreak could have happened anywhere, why did it happen there?

not that long ago, China had the answer to that.

Wuhan hosted an international military games event. China said that the US military had planted the virus in Wuhan at the games then - October 2019.

I think they may have to drop this - HeHummm.. story.

@Duchess64 Lemon-Lime shows his obstinate prejudices or stupidity.

That explains a lot.

More importantly:
https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/south-china-morning-post/

They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes)

Overall, we rate The South China Morning Post. . . .Mixed for factual reporting due to poor sourcing.

Yawn. No one on this forum believes this. Including yourself.

there's no scientific proof that Covid-19 originated in Wuhan, China.

It seems you're deliberately playing word games.

Even if we agree that the coronavirus existed somewhere before China, the fact remains that the actual *outbreak* which caused the pandemic came from China.
