The NewsHour serves a public good. It satisfies the founding fathers request that we maintain a well-informed electorate as a prerequisite to representative democracy.

Republicans of late - and democrats are not innocent - have decided that if the data doesn't fit their worldview, kill the data. This is why organizations like FoxNews are consistently rated as untrustworthy or unreliable because they operate only to fix your eyeballs on a reality that doesn't need to actually exist. You want to buy a Jeep because you can't take your eyes off Neil Cavuto.

You say you do not want other people‘s money. OK I will keep my eyes peeled for something you are going to say, and you will indeed imply or say sooner rather than later, that some citizen in this country is entitled to something that will have been provided by another citizen without the permission of the other citizen.
Don’t forget the tuition mess. I don’t recall you ever saying that average Joe is right, no one should pay the tuition of another citizen.
