Trump Had 4 Objectives For His War In Iran. He Has Not Accomplished Any Of Them.

On Feb. 28, shortly after the U.S. and Israel embarked on an extensive bombing campaign against Iran,
President Donald Trump appeared in a prerecorded video to announce that a “major combat operation” had begun.
“The hour of your freedom is at hand,” Trump told the “great, proud people of Iran” in the address.
“When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take.”
Just four days later, and in what was a sign of things to come,
the White House quietly dropped any mention of liberating the Iranian people from its list of stated objectives.
Instead, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the U.S. would:
1) Destroy Iran’s ballistic missiles and its capacity to manufacture new ones.
2) “Annihilate” Iran’s navy.
3) Destroy Iran’s ability to fund and arm terrorist proxies throughout the region.
4) Guarantee Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon.

Some of Trump’s biggest allies are outraged by the agreement he made with Iran.
“We had an economic stranglehold on that country. So, when you go back to the status quo ante before the blockade, how are we better off? What did we get?” former Republican Representative Trey Gowdy said on Fox News
“Make no mistake: This MOU is a capitulation to the Iranian terrorist regime.” wrote Joel Griffith, a senior fellow at the conservative American Advancing Freedom and co-chair of Young Jewish Conservatives.
“This is an American surrender,” MAGA commentator Erick Erickson said.
“Reagan is rolling over in his grave,” Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy wrote.
“This MOU appears to be … a disaster that does not achieve any of the actual signal goals that were set by the administration at the beginning,” commentator Ben Shapiro said on Fox News.
