Your fake Russian last name sounds like "cut your c**k off." Very witty. I hope I didn't hurt your fake Russian feelings.

Edit: I see Bookworm's comments are almost identical to mine.
Ivan, having learned from my own personal experiences on this site,
I will not judge you, as these others have, based on your command
of the English language. I am open-minded enough to realize that
it is a difficult language to master, and you should be proud of
whatever vocabulary you have been able to accummulate in your short time
in this country. Please know that you are always welcome to ask
my advice on any matters about our country that you find perplexing.
I will treat you as a real person, and not discount you as just some
incarnate stereotype.
Your American friend,

I did a Google on Kutchakokoff. If it is a real Russian name, it's certainly not a common one, with only 21 hits. One of these was the joke Bookworm mentioned. How do you spell your name in Cyrillic?
To be honest I don't mind whether you're Russian, American or Swazi, as long as you don't cheat at chess or get abusive on the forums.

For example, Peking is not a real place in China. Peking is actually Beijing. It's not a different dialect, it's a different transliteration. Beijing is much closer to it's true pronunciation and this is the Pinyin method of transliteration. Before about 1960, the Chinese government used the Wade-Giles method of transliteration, which transliterated what we call Beijing, into Peking. Therefore, Peking duck is Beijing duck!
The same applies to a more complex language such as Tibetan. The word transliterated is "thugs" is actually pronounced "tu" and "gral" is pronounced "tä".
What I'm getting at is, although you serached on Google for Kutchakokoff, it may be spelled differently in other parts of Russia, maybe with a v at the end instead of the 'ff', I dunno, because I dunno Russian... I'll stick to Mandarin and Tibetan 😉.
