He's definitely not a Russian. He's been on the site for 2 weeks now, but only started 2 games and made a total of 19 moves. He's spent far more time writing posts than he has spent on chess. I've never heard of a Russian chess player who'd rather talk than play chess!
Also what self-respecting Russian would produce drivel like this?
Game 580146
Then, as others have pointed out, his English switches from being very good one minute to atrocious the next. A clear sign of phoneyness. And his name is an obvious joke.
Now the real question should be, who on the site is impersonating this clown? Although he's quite funny, I strongly suspect someone is breaking the site's TOS.

Your are very clearly an imposter. Your grammar is terrible in a "I'm trying to be a fake Russian" sort of way, yet your spelling of English is perfect. Your fake Russian last name sounds like "cut your c**k off." Very witty. I hope I didn't hurt your fake Russian feelings.
Not that I'm the least bit intrested in whether he is or isn't russian, but there seems to be a few americans here who dont have much contact with foreigners.
I've met tons of russians, though I dont speak russian myself. So far as I have seen the russian accent is either genuine or a pretty damn good imitation.
Ever heard of being book taught? That's one way a foreigner can have terrible grammar but great spelling.
Even if being book taught isn't enough for you, consider the fact that a foreigner writing anything in english has plenty of time and very likely the inclination to consult the dictionary...

inclined to ask why people think that, no?

And besides, wouldn't Ivanna Kutchakokoff, the feminine version, be funnier?
Now on the question of whether "Ivan" is real or not, I don't know and I don't care.

simple name calling. Many people here will look down on
you and think that you are immature. I can see how
it might be an integral part of Russian culture, but in America,
we try not to do it.
