Ivan, one thing that grown adults in America try to avoid is
simple name calling. Many people here will look down on
you and think that you are immature. I can see how
it might be an integral part of Russian culture, but in America,
we try not to do it.

Originally posted by MayharmYour overly "PC" attitude allows you to be duped way too easily. As to not having much contact with "foreigners," again, you couldn't be further off base. There is a large Russian immigrant population where I live, and I have worked and currently attend school with many of that nationality. I don't know how many people comprise a "ton of Russians," but I'm sure that's your way of saying you've come into contact with a couple in passing. (I have no idea if that's true or not, but your assumptions about me warrant similar treatment.) I lived most of my life in New Mexico where I grew up, worked with and befriended many "foreigners:" Vietnamese, Korean, Cambodian, Indian, Afghani, Iraqi, Egyptian, Mexican, Cuban, Brazilian, etc....and I've only listed the nationalities of people I knew closely, not "knew of." My fiancee is Mexican-American, and I spend a great deal of time with her Mexican and Mexican-American family in Central Washington as well. Jeese, I sure wish I had more contact with "foreigners," but what can you do?
"Your grammar is terrible in a "I'm trying to be a fake Russian" sort of way, yet your spelling of English is perfect."
Not that I'm the least bit intrested in whether he is or isn't russian, but there seems to be a few americans ...[text shortened]... ery likely the inclination to consult the dictionary...
MÅ¥HÅRM
It is interesting that someone who excels in "book learning" (as you indicate may be the case with Mr. Cut Your C**k Off) would have the ability to spell AND use and conjugate English words perfectly (I should have pointed out correct word usage along with spelling in my earlier post), yet their grammar is terrible in a perfectly consistent way. Use of a dictionary while a "foreigner" is writing something in English does not account for perfect word usage, verb tense, etc. I've never experienced your claim to be the case with any of the "tons of foreigners" I've made the acqaintences of, but you are obviously an expert, what with your intimacy with "tons of Russians" and all. I'll bet they all go around crying, "Russian Revenge!, Russian Revenge!" every other time they open their mouth too, right?
If all it takes to dupe you into believing someone is something they are not is to omit articles and fail to pluralize with an 's,' you have a lot to learn my friend. Maybe you should change your name from 'Mayharm' to 'Maybeeasilyfooled' or 'Maybeimnotassmartasithinkiam.' Just a thought.
Edit: I didn't mean to sound so harsh, but, hey, it's the debates forum, right? It's all good, holmes...you don't really have to change your username.
