@Duchess64
I think the military would refuse such orders. Especially since he has only a few weeks left in his so-called presidency.
@shavixmir
Well it has been a quarter century since I worked at the Pentagon.
But like I said, since Trump has called his top generals idiots and has been heard putting down the military calling them losers and such, it seems to me they would refuse his orders.
Besides, like I said, he has only a few weeks left before he is carted out kicking and screaming I WON I WON and the like (it was reported by some of his aides he actually was heard muttering that in the halls of the WH) I just feel the adults in the pentagon would refuse such orders.
For one thing, federal troops are forbidden by US law to be used on American civilians.
One of his top generals actually issued an apology for the disgusting use of federal troops ordered by WIlliam Barr to quell a peaceful and I mean exactly that, PEACEFUL protest so that basturd Trump could get a photo op of him holding a bible in front of that church, you probably saw that disgusting image.

He is one of the highest ranking generals and his comments went around the military. He is the CHAIRMAN of the Joint forces in the US.
There are a number of 4 star generals but he is the one on top right now.
That is one reason why I think they would refuse to obey some orders by Trump to make use of fed troops to be used in some kind of martial law affair.
@Metal-Brain
Why don't you go back sticking your head in the sand, your comments are not welcome here.
We all know you think Trump is your god king and you would say ANYTHING to try (in vain) to shore up your criminal god king.
@shavixmir saidYou haven't heard anything because this is a nothing burger and this is what CNN has become.
However, I haven’t heard anything about this anywhere else. So, I presume it’s just a hissyfit by trump about nothing.
A network of exaggeration and hypothetical stories.
@sonhouse saidDo you know why you are so angry? Cognitive dissonance.

When people are confronted with facts that challenge a belief they have embraced for a long time it threatens their whole belief system and it is an uncomfortable feeling. That is the cognitive dissonance telling you something is wrong with your belief system and you are fighting it with denial and hate.
I will not stop until you accept the facts or you break from the cognitive dissonance. Or you can avoid this forum to maintain denial which I think is more likely.

I didn't notice any mention of the source of this information. It seems to be a mere rumor, just like the recent claims of Russian hacks.
@metal-brain saidOh, the irony.

Even when people lie to you it doesn't shake your trust in them.
Robert Redfield said masks keep you safer than a vaccine. There you go, the expert says so. No need for a vaccine, just mask up. It was on the mainstream news and everything. You buy into that?
Obvious contradictions don't shake your faith in people as long as they are officials, right? They can flip flop endlessly and you will still believe the last thing they claimed, unless it is a republican.
