Obvious contradictions don't shake your faith in people as long as they are officials, right ...[text shortened]... ip flop endlessly and you will still believe the last thing they claimed, unless it is a republican.

Even when Donald Trump admits to Bob Woodward that he lied (about how virulent he knew the virus to be), it still doesn't shake your faith in him. He flipflops, backtracks, claims what he said the day before was sarcasm, denounces the whistleblower as a liar whereas investigation later confirms that what the whistleblower said was substantially true, claims the Mueller Report totally exonerated him when it did no such thing, claims the Senate totally exonerated him which it did not, and you still buy whatever twaddle Trump tweets. 'It may have been the Chinese!' Sure thing, it may have been San Marino or Andorra, for that matter. No need for an investigation or science or evidence or a special prosecutor or a judge or corroboration from people who were in the room and were participants in the discussion -- just read Trump's latest twitter blurb.

While not even being any part of the administration.
