@dood111 saidIt also said she obstructed police by “directing that Travis McMichael should not be placed under arrest.” Johnson also lost her reelection bid last November because of the Arbery case.
Because she didn't instantly bring charges against the McMichaels...

News flash Mr. Dood - District Attorneys have rules they must follow too. They can't just sit on a case and do nothing just because they sympathize with the accused, so please stop painting this lady as an injured, innocent, little martyr, because we both know she's not.

@mchill saidShe recused herself instantly because she knew McMichael and left it up to an asst DA to take the case she did nothing wrong.

@mchill saidso what do we do with the DAs turning all these criminals loose, such as the parade killer?

@kevcvs57 saidMy problem is the vicious vindictive way they want to persecute a woman who did nothing wrong.
What’s your problem? Whatever she did or didn’t do will be decided in court. That’s a much better deal than Arbery got.
The family of Arbery said they want to see her in prison? Because she knew the McMichael family and recused herself?
WTF?

@sonhouse saidIt's a lot more than a judgement call, it's an example of how crazy the woke left has become.
@Dood111
Sounds like a judgement call but it is up to courts not us.
As the San Francisco DA, Kamala Harris kept an innocent man on death row until she was forced to give up the evidence she was hiding that proved his innocence.
Is she going to face charges?
@sonhouse saidAnswer my question:
@Dood111
Like I said. You want to be seen as fair, diss a repub also. Of course that will NEVER happen since you drank ALL the repub koolaid.
Why did Kamala Harris get to walk on keeping an innocent man in prison when she knew he was innocent and had to be forced to release the evidence that exonerated him?
Now you all think she is some kind of savior that can do no wrong?
@sonhouse saidYou are missing the point.

She recused herself because she knew the McMichaels and handed it off to an asst DA that had no connection to them.
She did the right thing.
Now they want to send her to prison?
Woke left dooshes aren't happy enough, let's send her to prison too?

Wrong! Regardless of which assistant DA this case was assigned to, she was responsible for the actions of her subordinates, just as in any other organization. She was the boss, and DA's are briefed on a daily or weekly basis the high profile cases of their assistants. The buck stops with her.
@mchill saidHer subordinates brought charges and had them arrested, tried, and convicted, so what's your beef?
She did the right thing.
