A simple look at what he might do. We don't know, cause (sorry, Marauer and WGas) he is not going to tell us what his strategy is. But here is an example of his genius, He will get high marks.

The exit strategy is that he is getting them to the table, of their own accord. Then he pulls a genius move....he says he will start by dropping his threatened tariffs. The ...[text shortened]... at these countries become trading partners, our friends, which means........China will be isolated.
Sorry for drifting off-topic with personal matters.

The correct thing to do with a bully is to punch him in the face.

Simpletons and others might never have any idea what a crazy person might do.

A reasonable, considerate person would lay out plainly what they think is wrong with our human world (at least at the economic level) and propose some fixes, get some feedback, then carry out some fixes on a reasonable timeline -- instead of surprising everyone every single day.

That is not at all what has been happening.

I imagine you are at least semi-literate (since you seem to keep indicating you are or have been a lawyer), so perhaps you are aware of Sartre's famous utterance: "Hell is other people." If I remember correctly, he wrote that while considering the context of a new and nascent ego, who eventually begins to discover that other people will not comply or will not obey or will behave in ways not to that new ego's liking.

The problem with Trump is that psychologically he has probably not advanced far past that stage -- perhaps not his fault, but we all have our choices, don't we? -- and his bullying and mugging for the cameras is his way of navigating life, because so far it has worked for him, and he doesn't know any better.

Another thing about Fort McLellan is that the scent in the air reminded me of old books.

nobody will stop trading with China, you dumb bastard.

All Trump accomplish is make people think twice before investing in the US. A country where a mad king can change policy from one day to another.

Yeah, something is wrong with that guy. But I'm probably not the only one who thinks he and others are profiting from the economic swings.

No I just threw that out there. It sounded good.
This from a guy who thinks most of what Trump says "Sounds good."

That's what governing by edict gets us.

All of the lib threads have one common denominator. Your complaints are about HOW Trump does things.
There may be two ways to get to the park, an acceptable and tried-and-true way is to go on Oak Street. Everyone is in a dither about his going to the park, it is in the news! All of a sudden, a news flash......TRUMP TAKES MAPLE STREET TO PARK!!!!
You and Sonhouse drop everything and head to your computer barricades!!!

This is unsurprisingly against what you say in most of your diatribes to me.

You've criticized me on more than one occasion for punching bullies in the face.

I thought that would be about restricting the rights of some to protect the rights of others, same as American conservatives.

Wow! Talk about sick and distant from some average level of human compassion.
