@no1marauder saidRemedies backed by force and threats of force.
Those are what we call "legal remedies".
Blowing up other people's stuff is not included.
@no1marauder saidA jury of liberals, don't you see? Don't you see? If I were on the jury, I prob would not convict a man who does everything right and moral, and , hey...........just wants to be left the hell alone.
We both know a real jury would have taken 5 minutes to convict him.
Not being mentally deranged, my reaction when promises to me are not fulfilled isn't to blow up the property of other people.
Don't you get it now? The more namby pamby the jury, the more likely to convict. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. Ahh Marauder world=ciizens made up of namby pamby....not exactly Roark's peers.
Someone please give me a thumb up.
@wajoma saidNon fiction lol. Dumbed down just enough to make you seem smart.
You're telling us we're dumbed down and you're not aware of Rands non-fiction?
The idea that there should be no corporate welfare is not exclusively Rands, it's not unrealistic, it's not dumbed down because there are many corporations that do not receive welfare. Where it does exist the unintended consequences of it are valid topics of discussion. Economists both left and ...[text shortened]... to need to know what you're talking about.
Go back to your Walt Disney comics for your economics.
It's the same folks. These politicians. They talk about Ayn Rand as if it's gospel all the time, and then they hand out $500 million public money to help a billionaire fund a stadium.
I am not an Ayn Rand hater, I just hate people who love Ayn Rand.

@wildgrass saidHave you got an example of these people talking about Rand all the time?

...and an example of them being behind a 500 million handout?
Thanks, I wont be holding my breath, you're making stuff up to be with your buddies on the Rand hate train and you're about to disappear.
wildgrass kicked off the train for making stuff up.
Edit: Which is a shame that wildgrass is departing because there are so many inconsistencies. It isn't Rand and her ideas that is the issue, the issue in wildgrass's dream scenario is politicians who aren't Rand enough. ;^)
So you're for corporate welfare? or are are you a Randroid opposed to handouts to billionaires?

@no1marauder saidWe're clear then, the response to breach of contract may be force and threats of force.
They'd hardly be remedies if they weren't.
@wajoma saidPeople defend karl marx the same way you defend Ayn Rand.

@wildgrass saidWhoah, hurtful hahaha.
People defend karl marx the same way you defend Ayn Rand.
So we're to take it you're for handouts to billionaires because Rand was opposed them, you've got a hate on Rand, you're stubborn and you've had your ass kicked.
Roger that, message received.
@wildgrass saidOther than Marauder, who defends Marx.? Not even Zahlanzi defends Marx.
People defend karl marx the same way you defend Ayn Rand.
@wajoma saidI wasn't trying to hurt you, just noticing that the argument you are using is that politicians who espouse Randian philosophy just aren't doing it correctly enough? If only they could Rand harder, they'd do better.
Whoah, hurtful hahaha.

@averagejoe1 saidHaha, don't rub it in. wildgrass will need to come up with more wild stories.

You're the one that bought them up, you're the one saying they talk of Rand all the time. Not me. I am not aware of them.

You're the one that says they talk of Rand 'all the time' then don't follow through. That's you.
We're still not clear, Rand was opposed to corporate handouts: Are you for them, or are you a Randroid?
@wajoma saidOf course, I do not compute how libs think, but I do see some conflict in their daily waffling.

He does not think it right that corps get welfare. But he himself would accept any govt check showing up in his mailbox, or wired into his account. Several years ago, SCOTUS deemed corps to have same status as people.
So he gets free stuff, accepts it, uses it to his benefit.....but corps should not? Maybe Suzianne can justify it, because he will not be able to,
@wajoma saidYou're supposed to be the Ayn Rand expert, right?

Scott walker, former Wisconsin governor, was the referenced example. I'll dig up the story. There are others.
Most people move on from hugging copies of Atlas Shrugged once they grow up. Just like marx, it's unrealistic.
@wildgrass saidHe better be talking about the gospel of Rand 'all the time' or I'm calling BS, and evidence of him bailing out a stadium, or I'm calling BS.

Ok, it doesn't need to be a stadium, something else.
I have never professed to be an expert. My very first post I stated that I am a Libertarian and Capitalist, not an Objectivist.
You made the promise, Scott Walker talking about Rand 'all the time' then handingout 500 million, you better come through on it or your house might get blown up.
What an ijit. Had enough toying with you.
