I recently read that President Bush (well, one of his sub-ordinates, actually) claimed that rendition "is a valuable tool we use in the ongoing war on terror." However, he went on to say that we "don't torture" or send people to other countries with the knowledge that they will be tortured while there. Isn't this an obvious lie? Or does rendition mean something else besides letting another country do your dirty work?
