@spruce112358 saidWe all hate dictators. Is there anyone here who like dictators I guess is the rhetorical question. 🤔
We can hate the concept of someone who does this. 😆
I'm not sure if Trump shoves waitresses. I don't know if Castro or the Shah of Iran or Robert Mugabe shoved waitresses.
But I hate dictatorship in all forms. 😆
Maybe the waitress was asking for it! Sorry, y’all regard my humor with disdain, Well, you can always study the Sonhouse. I worry he is going to give us a quiz some day.

Ok, you shocked me, looked it up. But not ABOUT to read it., so you win this one. I thought it was great, but this article is not too happy.
I read the pros/cons, I guess we can agree nothing is easy with these 10,000 year old tribes. Ouch.

@spruce112358 saidSue had written about 10 clicks back this,,,,:”When Corps rip us off with higher prices, we are all paying”
Manufacturing widgets has nothing to do with Republicans, Democrats, the Constitution, government, the IDEA of government (protecting all our rights equally), ice-breaking or anything else in this thread. 😆
WTF are you talking about?!?!?
First, I wrote this..
“If you live on the east side of town, and a Corp on the west side is being successful on the west side, tell us what that has to do with you. Of course, you have the same rights that they had when they built their corporation… You can join forces with other people and build your own corporation. You may kick their butt. Or you can shoot darts, and at the end of the day ...[text shortened]... Query: Could it be that you and Kamala, et al want to do away with competition, considered unfair?”

Thank you, RHP!
@Suzianne saidThe post is quite adequate with just the first sentence,…. what goes on in one place has nothing to do with what goes on in another place. The sentence establishes that the two sides are not connected.

@AverageJoe1 saidThe problem is this, @AverageJoe1. Your nephew owns Westside Corp, and so you lobbied your buddies in the State legislature to give a 30-year tax break to anyone opening a business in the "West Side Recovery Zone" (now expired.) Then, in exchange for shares in the company, you passed a law giving "job-creating businesses" with certain parameters low interest loans (limited and also now expired). THEN, when the competing Eastside company rose up, your buddies passed a law requiring 15' ceilings on all widget manufacturers "for safety" which made Eastside Co. move into a new building, knee-capping their sales and forcing them to sell out. So now Westside also owns Eastside which means they have a monopoly on the price of widgets, the price of which keep going up. But the CEO of Westside widgets simply issues a press release blaming government for inflation.

You Republicans hate the very idea of a Constitutional guarantee of equality because manipulating the legislatures and keeping your thumb on the scale makes your and your golfing partners a TON of money!
Businessmen like yourself and the President-elect and virtually every member of his cabinet are corrupt, sir. That's why you detest the notion of equality before the law. 😆
@spruce112358 saidNo, the problem with Your post is that it is based on under-the-table transfer of shares to the legislator. So, your post is disingenuous and based on nefarious activity!!!

Please refresh with solid honest business practices. You can’t kid a kidder! Sue may be reading it, after all.

@AverageJoe1 saidYou and your chums want to hamstring government, notably getting rid of the SEC, so that your nefarious business practices cannot be detected. 😆

@AverageJoe1 you advocate for a corrupt society run by rich businessmen whose sole goal is to get richer - an oligarchy. Like we had in the 1920's. 😆
@spruce112358 saidGood morning. We need a debate class 101. Here you actually begin a debate response with the word “You” . (picture being on a stage, judges watching, and a hypo has been presented by AvJoe). SHouse and Sue do that a lot.

I, AvJoe, am not part of this hypo. Then, then, you actually suggest nefarious activity, where there is none. Why interject that? A small company called Apple just moved from a garage to a warehouse, got all legal permits, incorporated, and makes 200 phones a day. Nothing nefarious. Yes, a guy on the N side of town owns 100 shares.
So the judges will ask you, “Does Mrs Suzianne have anything to do with that corporation.? What is her standing to go to authorities? To tell them what? That the corp charges too much for a phone? “
@AverageJoe1
I can hardly imagine what your response will be. Again, libs cannot get their minds around simple hypotheses.
@AverageJoe1 saidYou posed a hypothetical: "a Corp on the west side is being successful on the west side"

Is everyone satisfied with his response, which is that a perfectly proper corporation, as I have presented in this scenario, has become successful because he says they operated outside the law?
On another note, why can’t liberals answer questions? I win this debate off Spruce, of course, and Sue does not respond. I thought it was a good one. Is this why no one likes me?
The hypo is still open if anyone would like to respond. Not Spruce, who is one of the several posters here who will change the facts of a presented thread. Curious indeed. He does not even allow a joust over a perfectly-stated issue, which Sue herself has presented. All I did was comment on her saying corps, with which she does not appear to be involved, are “ ripping us off with higher prices”. She says that what they do is costing us, who are on the other side of town. Spruce covers her, saying they are successful because they buy off legislators?

I just told my granny that Spruce would write back about legislators, she said no he would never do that since it has nothing to do with the hypothesis
@AverageJoe1 saidStop lying. The way he described it is exactly how businesses think and act.

Like Trump, like you, they only see things as extensions of "winning" or "losing", not right or wrong.
There are no "honest" business practices. Only "winning" or "losing".
